things! Yesterday we went to the Magic Kingdom and we got to go onto
Space Mountain before the park even opened!!! And we got to go on it
twice, once with the lights on the other time with the lights off! We
did many other interesting things like a scavenger hunt and getting
free Disney bags. Then today we went to the Hollywood/Disney Animation
Studios. We got to go and go through a building where they told us how
long it takes and how to make a character in a movie and how many
people this takes, they demonstrated that by showing how they made
Mushu, from Mulan. Then we got to see how to draw Mickey Mouse and we
all got ti draw him on the light boards that daddy uses for work, we
didnt get to have any erasers either! Then we got to go through the
area that we were in and learn all about the animation! We got to see
Walt Disney's life and how Disney had started. It was amazing!!! We
got to cut through lines because of the guide that we had! I think
that daddy would have been amazed at everything that we got to do and
to see involving the art and the animation! I will fill you guys in
later, everyone have fun!

Thanks for the phone call! It sounds like you are having an amazing time! Thank Nonnie and Poppy for this wonderful experience! Loved talking to you and hearing the excitement in your voices! I miss you both, but I'm thrilled for you, too! Stay cool and take it easy on the giant oreos!!!! Love, Mommy
ReplyDeleteWow! Exclusive rides on Space Mountain! Did Nonni & Poppi ride, too? It sounds really fascinating to peek behind the scenes of the animated movies. I hope you took some pictures and will share when you get back! Love, Daddy.
ReplyDeleteOh Sarah! Space Mountain is the best and one of my favorite rides. When Uncle Pat and I went down (I think I was 13 at the time) we rode on it 5 times in a row. We went in the single line to get more rides. Even Uncle Bob loves that ride. It's one of the only roller coasters that he gets to go on. I know your Mom and Dad miss you, and Jared so much, but what a wonderful time for your grandparents. Being a grandparent NOW I cannot WAIT to take Hannah and any other grand children some day! Have fun, be safe and check out EVERYTHING you possibly can.
ReplyDeleteLove you loads, Auntie Kate
